What to expect:

Beginners

We know that starting lessons for a new musical instrument can be intimidating for everyone, especially kids, so we've ensured your first experience will be stress-free, easy, and FUN!

Don't have a guitar? Don't worry... you'll be able to try both acoustic and electric style guitars at our studio.

Your instructor will guide you from the absolute basics, from how to hold the guitar, to playing your first song. That's right, you'll be playing a song in your first lesson. Our teaching techniques make playing songs easy and approachable from the very start.

After your trial we'll also help you through the process of selecting a guitar. You'll be guided every step of the way.

Intermediate and Advanced Players

For players with experience, the first step in your journey at Groove will be discussing your personal goals, playing experience, strengths and weaknesses, and the styles of music you enjoy or wish to play. Your guitar lessons will be customized around the bands and songs you love most.

From there, we'll assess your current skill level and then begin learning right away. All genres covered, from rock, pop, blues, country, funk, jazz, metal, and more.
